We are winners of the iF Design Award 2024

Asadesign Studio is a winner of this year's iF DESIGN AWARD, the world-renowned design prize. Manacá chair won in the Home Furniture category. Its design stands out for balancing lightness and structural rigidity, something achievable through the usage of a very dense wood: Cumaru, which comes from legal forest management, with a document of controlled forest origin issued by Ibama – the Brazilian Federal Government agency for forest conservation.

The product's differentiation lies in the combination of resistance, lightness, and unity that the design brings in the wood structure, together with the surprising detail of the zigzag weaving of the nautical rope.

Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. Manacá Chair won over the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world.
